Something I learned from video school is how important the light is to create the right vibe in different situations and that really mirrors my art. Wherever you stand in the room, the painting perceives differently depending on how the light hits the painting. The painting transforms, if the light is on or off, if it’s cloudy or sunny, if it’s night or day, I just love that and I love to stand in front of the painting for - what feels like - hours and just dream away wherever the imagination takes me.
I will definitely paint a lot of different paintings on this journey. In the future I want to perfect my handcraft and one of my goals is to have the skills to paint realistic, but for the moment I really enjoy more of an abstract vibe. I would say that my signature style at the moment is texture and shimmer. I just love sparkling things and I 100% understand why they say that diamonds are a girl’s best friend. My paintings are my diamonds, and my mission is to create a world full of Emilia Amb’s diamonds.
